About the position

The Agile IT Analyst at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona plays a crucial role in gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting research and analysis, and ensuring effective communication between various stakeholders. This position is essential for supporting project deliverables and resolving production issues, while also acting as a liaison between internal and external customers and Agile teams. The role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements for projects.
• Conduct research and analysis related to project deliverables or production issues.
• Write and review business requirements, flow specifications, or change requests.
• Perform testing and post-production validation.
• Act as a liaison between business customers, external customers, project teams, and Agile teams.
• Provide first or second level support for internal/external customers.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to improve procedures and processes.
• Develop moderate complex business requirements on large projects with limited management direction.
• Lead small to medium size projects and mentor Level 1 Analysts.
• Ensure Service Level Agreements are met and assist in day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in healthcare or insurance field with an emphasis on business processes or system analytics.
• 2 years of experience in a role with demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse groups of people.
• 1 year of experience in end-to-end business processes with increased exposure to system configuration and integrations.
• High School Diploma or GED in a general field of study.

Nice-to-haves

• 5 years of experience in healthcare or insurance field with an emphasis on business processes and system analytics including EDI and integrations.
• 1 year of experience in project management.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• Business Analyst Certification.
• Software Testing Certifications.
