About the position

The Agile IT Project Analyst will serve as a crucial liaison between the Agile PMO, Price Optimization Leadership, and Execution teams. This role is designed to manage and facilitate the administrative data gathering needs while also organizing and motivating Agile teams to deliver quality outcomes that provide business value to both internal and external users. The Agile IT Project Analyst will be responsible for coordinating multiple concurrent deliverables in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing needs as they arise. This position plays a consultative role, helping to build partnerships across the organization and implementing the appropriate processes and tools to optimize efficiency. In this role, the Agile IT Project Analyst will maintain awareness of ongoing projects, perform follow-ups, and monitor priority deliverables, escalating issues as necessary to ensure that internal reporting and business needs are met within expected timelines. The position requires collaboration with Agile PMO Team resources to support planning and administration, as well as participation in key events such as Quarterly Planning Intervals. The Analyst will also assist in maintaining artifacts within the Agile PMO playbook, ensuring that documentation is up-to-date and accessible. The Agile IT Project Analyst will be proactive in monitoring deadlines and high-priority data needs, creating and reporting on team and resource data to track progress, identify trends, and highlight potential gaps for process improvement. This role will support the Director of Agile PMO in reporting monthly and quarterly data elements to various stakeholders, ensuring that high-profile deliverables align with business and client expectations. Additionally, the Analyst will champion ongoing process improvement initiatives, manage the JIRA intake portal for new requests, and facilitate regular meetings to enhance team efficiency and alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for planning and administration in collaboration with Agile PMO Team resources.
  • Participate in key events such as Quarterly Planning Intervals.
  • Facilitate and administer Scrum team Agility Assessments.
  • Maintain artifacts within the Agile PMO playbook (team documentation repository).
  • Monitor and follow up on high-priority data needs proactively.
  • Create and monitor data metrics to track progress and identify trends.
  • Report on team and resource data to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Support the Director of Agile PMO in reporting monthly/quarterly data elements to stakeholders.
  • Ensure high-profile deliverables meet business and client expectations.
  • Escalate issues to senior leaders and managers for resolution.
  • Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives for best practices and efficiency.
  • Manage the JIRA intake portal for new requests across business units.
  • Maintain tracking workbook of Technology team resources in collaboration with the Director, Agile PMO.
  • Coordinate and facilitate daily, weekly, and/or monthly meetings.
  • Participate in key events focusing on team process improvement and alignment.

Requirements

  • Previous professional experience as a healthcare data analyst.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years of IT project-related experience.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PPT, TEAMS, Outlook, etc.).
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile, Scrum, and/or Lean processes.
  • Experience working with Agile Scrum Teams.
  • Experience utilizing Agile Project Management tools (Jira, TFS, Confluence, etc.).
  • Master's degree in healthcare administration, analytics, or other IT field of study is preferred.
