About the position

The Agile Manager at CoreAVI will serve as a Master Scheduler for software engineering and certification teams, focusing on the introduction and implementation of Agile methodologies. This role is crucial for ensuring the effective execution of engineering initiatives that comply with DO-178C and ISO 26262 standards within an AS9100-certified environment, while maintaining an integrated master schedule for timely delivery of project artifacts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage an Integrated Master Schedule for software engineering teams using MS Project and Jira.
  • Collaborate with team leads and stakeholders to understand requirements and milestones.
  • Monitor team progress against the schedule and identify risks or delays.
  • Proactively manage schedule adjustments and recommend resource allocations.
  • Provide accurate reports and visualizations of project statuses and performance metrics.
  • Participate in Strategic Resource Planning activities to capture team requests and staffing.
  • Maintain communication and accuracy in schedule updates.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and requirements under pressure.
  • Introduce and champion Agile principles within functional teams.
  • Coach and mentor team members in Agile best practices.
  • Define accountability for each functional team using RACI.
  • Refine processes to align with team responsibilities.
  • Foster a factory-like approach to tasks and encourage AI adoption.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards in Agile practices.
  • Provide feedback through structured Agile ceremonies.
  • Identify and assess risks in execution plans and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and track risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Extract KPIs for each team and track performance relative to established metrics.
  • Identify areas for improvement and drive implementation of changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in Project Management in Waterfall and Agile frameworks, preferably in aerospace or automotive.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Formal certifications in project management (PMP / PgMP and PMI-ACP) are desirable.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and tools (MS Project, Jira/Confluence).
  • Strong understanding of DO-178C and/or ISO 26262 certification standards is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AS 9100 standards is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel) for reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
