About the position

The Agile Marketing Scrum Master/Coach is responsible for facilitating agile ceremonies, managing agile teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of agile projects within the Commercial Strategy & Marketing (CS&M) department. This role combines expertise in marketing operations with Agile methodologies to drive efficiency, collaboration, and innovation. The Scrum Master fosters a culture of transparency and continuous improvement, ensuring that teams deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for selecting, implementing, and optimizing Agile tools tailored to the marketing department's needs.
  • Evaluate and select Agile tools that align with marketing processes and objectives, leading the implementation process.
  • Customize Agile tools to fit the unique workflows and requirements of marketing campaigns and projects.
  • Provide training and support to marketing teams on effectively using Agile tools for project management and collaboration.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of Agile tools and foster a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Gain buy-in for Agile processes and tools from various organizational levels and influence stakeholders without authority.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Work closely with CS&M leadership to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, creating actionable project plans and roadmaps.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and address issues to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges to keep teams on track and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish reporting mechanisms to track the effectiveness of Agile tool usage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement using Agile methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing operations, project management, agile scrum, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Agile tools such as Miro, Workfront, Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar.
  • Experience leading the implementation and optimization of Agile tools within a marketing environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Certification and proven expertise in Agile methodologies (e.g. Certified Scrum Master) is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
