About the position

The Agile Product Manager for Claim Anomaly Detection/Data Mining at Elevance Health is responsible for representing stakeholder needs to Agile teams, driving product strategy, and ensuring effective communication of customer requirements. This role involves managing multiple Agile teams, developing business cases for product features, and utilizing key performance indicators to measure product performance. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and mentoring of Product Owners to enhance solution delivery across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Represent stakeholder needs to Agile teams and drive solution concepts across multiple teams.
  • Develop and communicate the product strategy, definition, and positioning road map.
  • Conduct full competitive analysis and win/loss analysis to inform product decisions.
  • Participate in validation of proposed solutions and communicate customer needs effectively.
  • Manage the Program Epic/Initiative backlog at the Agile Lean Program Level.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop business cases for Epics/features affecting the Agile Release Train.
  • Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance and support portfolio work.
  • Collaborate with system and solution architects for decision-making on technical aspects.
  • Build and mentor an effective product manager/product owner team for multiple trains.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in writing business/functional requirements and implementing Agile methodologies.
  • SAFe (SA) certification is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Leading SAFe (SA) certification preferred.
  • Experience with data mining is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Jira is preferred.
  • Experience with Aha! is a plus.
  • Health or managed care experience is a plus.
