About the position

The Agile Product Manager for Claim Anomaly Detection/Data Mining at Elevance Health is responsible for representing stakeholder needs to Agile teams, driving product strategy, and ensuring effective solution delivery. This role involves collaboration with Product Owners, managing the Program Epic/Initiative backlog, and utilizing key performance indicators to measure product performance. The position requires a strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to mentor Product Owners across multiple Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Represent stakeholder needs to Agile teams and drive solution concepts across multiple teams.
• Develop and communicate the business case product strategy, positioning, and roadmap.
• Conduct full competitive analysis and win/loss analysis to inform product decisions.
• Participate in the validation of proposed solutions based on customer needs.
• Manage the Program Epic/Initiative backlog at the Agile Lean Program Level.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop business cases for Epics/features affecting the Agile Release Train.
• Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance and support portfolio work.
• Collaborate with system and solution architects for decision-making on technical aspects.
• Build and mentor an effective product manager/product owner team across multiple trains.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in writing business/functional requirements and implementing Agile methodologies.
• SAFe (SA) certification is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Leading SAFe (SA) certification preferred.
• Experience in data mining is preferred.
• Familiarity with Jira is preferred.
• Experience with Aha! is a plus.
• Health or managed care experience is a plus.
