About the position

Bunting Magnetics Co., located in Newton, Kansas, is a leading manufacturer of magnetic conveying and separation equipment serving a wide variety of industries. We have an immediate opening for an Agile Product Manager. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $128,000 per year, along with a signing bonus of up to $5,000 (guidelines apply). The Agile Product Manager will play a crucial role in leading and managing digital transformation and cloud migration projects from initiation through completion. This includes facilitating Kanban meetings, such as daily stand-ups, Kanban board reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure that the team is aligned and focused on project goals. The Agile Product Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and priorities specific to digital transformation and cloud migration. They will be responsible for managing project scope, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery of digital and cloud initiatives. The role also involves optimizing workflow by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the digital transformation and cloud migration processes. Mentoring and coaching team members on Kanban practices and principles tailored to these projects is also a key responsibility. Continuous improvement is essential, and the Agile Product Manager will implement feedback loops and process enhancements within the context of digital transformation and cloud migration. Effective communication of project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, with a focus on manufacturing outcomes, is critical. Additionally, the Agile Product Manager will coordinate and manage relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure successful project execution and delivery, negotiate contracts, manage external dependencies, and ensure that external partners meet project timelines and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage digital transformation and cloud migration projects from initiation through completion.
  • Facilitate Kanban meetings, including daily stand-ups, Kanban board reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager with a focus on Kanban in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Kanban principles and practices.
  • Experience managing digital transformation and cloud migration projects.
  • Proficiency with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
  • Experience with AI (Artificial Intelligence) technologies and their applications in manufacturing.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Kanban Management Professional (KMP), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)).
  • Strong skills in coordinating and managing external partners and vendors.
