Evernorth Accountable Care is a new business initiative focused on partnering with healthcare providers to establish value-based care relationships, aimed at improving patient care while reducing overall healthcare costs. The Agile Product Owner will play a crucial role in developing the claims pricing and payment capabilities that are essential for the foundation and long-term growth of this business. This position requires acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to set clear business objectives, communicate capability requirements, and prioritize enhancements effectively. The Agile Product Owner will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements, establishing deadlines, aligning responsibilities, and monitoring progress against set goals. In this role, the Agile Product Owner will serve as a leader on a claims-focused scrum team, breaking down complex requirements into user stories that can be effectively worked on by technology teams. The individual will facilitate refinement sessions, set direction regarding the sequencing of work, and lead or participate in agile ceremonies. Close collaboration with the product manager is essential to ensure that team-level priorities are continuously aligned with program-level objectives. Additionally, the Agile Product Owner will develop and implement processes for effective implementation and integration, create standard operating procedures, and ensure a smooth transition of capabilities into a business-as-usual environment. Key responsibilities include translating business and user objectives into detailed requirements and acceptance criteria, collaborating in an Agile environment to communicate business requirements, documenting and maintaining project plans and roadmaps, monitoring project progress, facilitating ideation and strategy sessions, testing application features, and utilizing data and analytics to drive business decisions. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the claims pricing and payment capabilities are continually enhanced to meet the evolving needs of the business and its stakeholders.
