In this role, the Agile Product Owner will serve as the primary point of contact for the Agile team, providing periodic status updates to business stakeholders and upper management. The Product Owner is responsible for ensuring that the right product is built, creating user and customer value while meeting the needs of the Line of Business (LOB) stakeholders. This includes understanding and conveying the product vision to the scrum team, supporting the creation of the strategy and roadmap that contributes to the product's revenue and profitability targets, and preparing for and maintaining the overall success of sprint planning for the product. The Agile Product Owner will also ensure that user stories are well-formed, develop metrics for measuring the success of the solution, and work within fiscal budget parameters. They will take into account organizational strategic themes and how they influence the team backlog, supporting decision-making that sets the architectural direction or chooses the agreed technology infrastructure that will host the new business functionality for a product or product platform.

  • Understanding and representing/conveying the vision to the scrum team
  • Supporting the creation of the strategy/roadmap that contributes to the product's revenue and profitability targets

  • Ensuring User stories are well formed
  • Developing metrics and their rationale for measuring success of the solution
  • Working within fiscal budget parameters
  • Taking into account organizational strategic themes and how they potentially influence the team backlog
  • Supporting the decision-making that sets the architectural direction or chooses the agreed technology infrastructure that will host the new business functionality for a product or product platform

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of recent experience utilizing deep skills with image center processing
  • Minimum of 5 years of Technical Image Center understanding
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and experience working with Agile teams
  • Highly developed relationship building skills and the ability to establish credibility and influence within the internal organization
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, BCIS or related technical field, or if no degree, 8 years of experience in software application development, product management or business systems analysis
  • Demonstrated understanding of Agile software methodologies
  • Ability to write requirements specifications, epics and user stories according to standard templates, using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously, and concisely
  • Ability to decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements and quality requirements, specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by those who must base their work on the requirements
