About the position

Gallup is accepting applications for the Agile Project Manager/Scrum Master Intern position for the Summer of 2025. As an intern, you will manage the development of custom software programs aimed at helping individuals maximize their potential and oversee the creation of technology that assists leaders in building engaging workplaces. This role provides the chance to work on some of the most influential projects at Gallup, allowing you to make a significant impact during your internship. To be eligible for this internship, candidates must be currently enrolled in an associate, undergraduate, or graduate program at a college or university within a 250-mile radius of Omaha, Nebraska, and be pursuing a degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, business, math, or a related field. Preference will be given to those graduating between August 2025 and May 2026, although 2027 graduates will also be considered. Interns must be available to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer, specifically Monday through Thursday in our Omaha Riverfront office, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development of custom software programs.

  • Lead projects to completion, ensuring teams hit milestones and meet requirements.
  • Articulate project scope to stakeholders and technology partners.
  • Create and execute a project plan by breaking down milestones into actionable deliverables.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an associate, undergraduate, or graduate school program within a 250-mile radius of Omaha, Nebraska.
  • Working toward a degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, business, math, or a related field.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer in Omaha.
  • Classroom or work experience with project management, preferably in software development.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology is preferred.
  • Ability to clearly articulate project scope to stakeholders and technology partners.
  • Ability to create and execute a project plan by breaking down milestones into actionable deliverables.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
