About the position

As an Agile Project Manager at NISC, you will play a crucial role in managing software projects that contribute to providing power and communications to millions of homes across the country. This position requires a strong commitment to project management principles and practices, particularly within an Agile framework. You will coordinate and execute various projects and change management initiatives, ensuring that all aspects of project planning and monitoring are effectively handled. Your expertise will guide project teams in utilizing Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, project processes, workflows, and best practices to deliver high-quality products and services. In this role, you will facilitate and support essential project events, including project meetings, stakeholder reviews, and retrospectives. Collaboration is key, as you will assist in project planning sessions and facilitate cause mitigation meetings when necessary. Clear communication is paramount; you will prioritize maintaining effective communication channels between cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and measuring the complexity, effort, risk, and uncertainty associated with project scopes, creating and maintaining detailed reports and dashboards for stakeholder and management review. Your proactive approach will help resolve escalated items and clear project impediments or blockers, while also building and managing positive relationships with internal stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute projects and change management initiatives, including all aspects of project planning and monitoring.
  • Guide project teams on using Agile SDLC and project processes, workflows, best practices, and principles.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience preferred.
  • Advanced level knowledge of Agile, Information System Project Management, and general project management best practices and theory.
  • Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful business conclusions relevant to Project Management.
  • Advanced level knowledge of business-related software applications and services.
  • Superior research and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent ability to set and manage internal and external Member/Customer expectations.
