About the position

The Agile Project Manager at Midmark Corporation is responsible for leading project teams in executing strategic projects using Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum. This role involves coaching others in Agile principles, formulating project scopes, developing project plans, and ensuring that project milestones and deadlines are met. The Agile Project Manager will also facilitate meetings, maintain project documentation, and communicate project statuses to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and defines technical scope and objectives of projects, ensuring milestones are reached and deadlines are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develops project plans identifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, risks, and resource allocation.
• Maintains current and complete project management data and documents in enterprise systems.
• Reports actuals to budgets and balances prioritization of technical debt against new feature innovation.
• Communicates relevant project information to superiors and peers through project status reports.
• Facilitates meetings and forums such as Planning, Refinement, Review, and Retrospective to drive desired outcomes.
• Works with Product Owner(s) to ensure the product backlog is precise for Sprint planning and forecasting.
• Guides and coaches the scrum team and organization on Agile Methodology and Scrum principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Master's Degree preferred.
• One or more Scrum Master certifications (PSM I/II, CSM/A-CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM).
• Two years of Scrum Master experience.
• Expertise in leveraging different types of project management practices and experience working in Agile delivery methodology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft SharePoint.
