About the position

The Agile Project Manager will lead and manage the execution of projects within an Agile environment, ensuring successful delivery through effective facilitation of Agile ceremonies and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to coach teams on best practices while managing project documentation and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end execution of projects within an Agile environment.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Teams, and stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and timelines.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and remove impediments to ensure successful project delivery.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and promote Agile values and principles.
• Manage project documentation, including project plans, sprint metrics, and reports for stakeholders.
• Track and communicate project status, progress, and potential risks to stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor teams on Agile best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
• Manage dependencies, resources, and priorities across multiple projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing Agile projects (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe frameworks).
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, tools, and practices.
• Proficiency in Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or similar.
• Experience in stakeholder management and reporting project progress.
• Ability to identify project risks and drive mitigation strategies.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Project Management with a minimum of 2 years in an Agile leadership role.
• Certification in Agile practices (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or similar).
• Experience managing software development or IT infrastructure projects is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in large, cross-functional teams within a scaled Agile framework (e.g., SAFe).
• Understanding of Agile maturity assessment and team coaching techniques.
• Experience with resource planning and financial tracking of projects.
