About the position
The Agile Scrum Master (Jira) position is a contract role focused on facilitating agile processes and ensuring effective team collaboration in a hybrid work environment. The role involves maintaining performance metrics, managing agile events, and supporting the adoption of enabling tools to enhance team productivity and transparency.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and updating performance metrics (e.g., burn-down charts) to provide clear feedback to team members.
- Managing and coordinating agile events such as backlog prioritization, sprint planning, daily meetings, and retrospectives.
- Supporting the adoption and consistent use of enabling tools like Jira, Mural, and MS Teams.
- Organizing and presenting ideas and information logically to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Experience as a Scrum Master in an agile environment.
- Proficiency in using Jira for project management and tracking.
- Strong communication skills to convey information effectively to diverse audiences.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with other agile tools such as Mural or MS Teams.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and frameworks beyond Scrum.
