About the position

The Agile Scrum Master - Lead position is responsible for guiding multiple squads in the adoption and implementation of Scrum methodologies for high-level projects at a Fortune 500 client in Atlanta. This role involves coaching teams, facilitating Scrum events, and ensuring effective product backlog management to maximize project value. The position operates in a hybrid model, alternating between in-office and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Leads and coaches the organization in its Scrum adoption.
• Plans Scrum implementations within the organization.
• Helps employees and stakeholders understand and enact Scrum and empirical product development.
• Recommends change that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team.
• Ensures the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value.
• Facilitates Scrum events as requested or needed.
• Coaches the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, particularly Scrum.
• Excellent coaching, facilitation, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM or equivalent).
• Experience in a Fortune 500 company.
• Knowledge of additional Agile frameworks such as Kanban.
