About the position
The Scrum Master will lead multiple squads in delivering several high-level projects for a Fortune 500 client in Atlanta. This role involves alternating between in-office and remote work, focusing on enhancing the organization's Scrum adoption and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Leads and coaches the organization in its Scrum adoption.
- Plans Scrum implementations within the organization.
- Helps employees and stakeholders understand and enact Scrum and empirical product development.
- Recommends change that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team.
- Ensures the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value.
- Facilitates Scrum events as requested or needed.
- Coaches the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
- Ability to facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts.
- Experience with project management tools and software.
Nice-to-haves
- Certification in Scrum Master or Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, PSM).
- Experience working in a Fortune 500 company.
- Familiarity with AI tools in project management.
