As an Agile Scrum Master Senior, you will play a pivotal role in leading our scrum teams through this transition, ensuring that we maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and operational excellence. You will be responsible for coaching team members in Lean-Agile practices, managing risks and dependencies, and facilitating collaboration across various teams, including Architecture and Risk. Your expertise will help us improve the flow of value through our value streams, enhancing our DevOps practices and Continuous Delivery Pipeline. In this role, you will lead the scrum team in implementing Agile methodologies and scrum practices, helping the product owner and development team to achieve their goals. You will manage and optimize the flow of value through Scrum/Kanban implementation, track impediments, and provide input on resource allocation to address critical bottlenecks. Your leadership will drive relentless improvement through Inspect and Adapt workshops, assessing the agility level of the API Agile Release Train (ART) and fostering Communities of Practice. You will also facilitate API System Demos, showcasing the collective work of all teams involved in the project. This position requires a strong commitment to collaboration, flexibility, and respect within the work environment, as well as a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices.
• Help the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Manage and optimize the flow of value through Scrum/Kanban implementation.
• Coach scrum team members in Lean-Agile practices, mindsets and drive efficiency.
• Help manage risks and dependencies.
• Escalate and track impediments.
• Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks.
• Encourage collaboration between teams (Architecture, Risk, etc.).
• Improve the flow of value through value streams by improving and assessing the practices associated with DevOps and Release on Demand in the Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
• Work with the Agile Transformation program to set objectives and drive for operational excellence.
• Facilitate API System Demos (overall demo from all teams).
• Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the API Agile Release Train (ART) and help them improve.
• Foster Communities of Practice and the use of engineering and Built-In Quality practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in Software development methodologies and best practices.
• 5+ years of experience in Agile Development and expert in Scrum process preferable SAFe.
• Agile Certification is a must.
• Experience using industry standard PPM tools such as Clarity, Planview, Wrike or Zoho Projects.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills.
• Ability to adapt & excel in changing fast paced environment.
• Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction.
• Knowledge and understanding of API programming with XML, REST or JSON.
• Experience with one or a combination of the following: Java, Web Services, API Calls, or Process Automation.
