About the position

The Scrum Master will be responsible for guiding and coaching the development team in agile practices, removing impediments, and ensuring that the team delivers high-quality products in a timely manner. This role is key to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team. The Scrum Master will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring that they are effective and focused. Additionally, the Scrum Master will coach and mentor the development team on agile principles and practices, helping them to become self-organized and high-performing. A critical aspect of this role is impediment removal, where the Scrum Master will proactively identify and remove obstacles that could hinder the team's progress, ensuring that the team can work efficiently. The Scrum Master will also work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to ensure that the team's work aligns with the product vision and business goals. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement is essential, as the Scrum Master will encourage the team to reflect on their processes and implement changes that enhance productivity and quality. Furthermore, the Scrum Master will track and report on team performance metrics, using data to identify areas for improvement and celebrate successes. Acting as an advocate for agile methodologies within the organization, the Scrum Master will promote their benefits and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring that they are effective and focused.

Requirements

  • Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience as a Specialist.
  • Five or more years of experience as a Scrum Master and leading agile teams.
  • Five or more years of experience in agile methodologies, preferably Scrum framework.
  • Five or more years working experience with agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
  • Five or more years working experience with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, computer science, engineering or a related field.
