About the position
The Agile Scrum Master will be responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of complex projects across multiple departments within a business unit. This role involves facilitating Agile and Waterfall service deliveries, leading project teams, and ensuring successful execution of technical solutions. The Scrum Master will act as a servant leader, focusing on removing impediments and managing project scope, timelines, and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Manage project scope and execution
- Lead daily meetings of the service engagement project team
- Partner with the portfolio manager to lead the team
- Remove impediments to team delivery
- Oversee project execution, integration, and implementation
- Conduct risk management and mitigation planning
- Manage readiness, change adoption, and stakeholder management
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with change requirements
- Act as the primary point of contact for project integration
Requirements
- Experience with Agile tools (Jira)
- Strong project management skills
- Knowledge of Waterfall delivery methods
- Educational background in project management or business management
- Ability to manage disparate teams globally
- Proven track record in managing large-scale complex projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead meetings and resolve ambiguity
- Keen attention to detail and strong sense of ownership
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in financial services or banking
- Expertise in MS Project, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
