About the position

As an Agile Scrum Master at Fidelity, you will play a crucial role in guiding cross-functional Scrum teams within the Fidelity Brokerage division. Your primary responsibility will be to promote Agile values and practices, ensuring that teams are productive and focused on their Sprint goals. This position emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and the empowerment of team members to deliver exceptional value to clients and associates.

Responsibilities

  • Advise and lead Squads on Agile values, practices, and processes.
  • Encourage Agile behaviors and support overall Squad performance and efficiency.
  • Facilitate and coordinate logistics for Agile routines such as Backlog Refinement, Planning, Daily Scrum, and Retrospectives.
  • Maintain healthy backlogs and ensure they are accurately balanced across team members.
  • Produce and utilize process metrics and artifacts to communicate Squad performance effectively.
  • Identify team improvement opportunities and research best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and work across multiple Squads contributing to shared initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency and experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent understanding of Agile/Scrum fundamentals.
  • Proficient with Agile enabling tools like Jira/Jira Align.
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities for teams.
  • Experience in facilitating Agile routines and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in a technology delivery environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Scrum certification (CSM or PSM) required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in financial services or related industries.
  • Familiarity with additional Agile frameworks beyond Scrum.
