About the position

The Investment Vehicles team at Macquarie Group Limited is focused on building scalable global platforms utilizing modern and cloud-native technologies. This initiative aims to enable Macquarie Asset Management to evolve into a data-driven and tech-enabled organization. As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in leading scrum teams that are dedicated to delivering significant business outcomes across various global locations. This position offers the opportunity to operate across different domains, enhancing your experience and exposure within the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of agile rituals, which include sprint and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, showcases, retrospectives, and tracking sprint metrics. You will also be involved in backlog refinement and other essential activities that contribute to the success of the scrum teams. Effective communication is crucial, as you will provide targeted updates to all stakeholders, ensuring they have a clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables, and any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. Your experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master will be invaluable, particularly your proven track record in Agile delivery models and mindsets. You will be tasked with delivering complex projects that span multiple streams and regions, working with diverse stakeholders to achieve consensus and drive outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Lead scrum team(s) focused on delivering business outcomes across global locations.
  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of agile rituals including sprint and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, showcases, and retrospectives.
  • Track sprint metrics and facilitate backlog refinement and other agile activities.
  • Provide targeted communication to stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables, and issues.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Project Manager / Scrum Master working closely with product owners and engineers.
  • Proven experience in Agile delivery models and mindsets.
  • Ability to deliver complex projects working across multiple streams and regions with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to gain consensus and deliver outcomes.
