About the position
The Agile Scrum Master at BCforward is responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of complex projects across multiple departments. This role involves facilitating Agile and Waterfall service deliveries, leading project teams, and ensuring successful integration of various work streams to achieve project goals. The Scrum Master acts as a servant leader, removing impediments and focusing on the team's progress while managing project scope, timelines, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Manage project scope and lead daily meetings of the service engagement project team.
- Align resources to key project roles and establish responsibilities and accountabilities.
- Oversee project execution, integration, and implementation.
- Conduct risk management and mitigation planning.
- Manage readiness, change adoption, and stakeholder management.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with change requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project integration.
- Utilize strong project management and Agile Scrum Master skills to guide the team.
- Implement Waterfall delivery methods as needed.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Agile tools, particularly Jira.
- Experience with infrastructure delivery projects.
- Strong risk management and mitigation planning skills.
- Educational background in project management or business management.
- Ability to manage disparate teams globally and execute technical solutions.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale complex projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with MS Project, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of programs and project frameworks.
