About the position

The Agile Scrum Master will play a crucial role in maximizing value for Capital Markets Technology by defining the vision and roadmap for deal origination, pipeline, and execution technology. This position involves close collaboration with senior business partners and the Technology Development Team in a scaled Agile model to ensure alignment and effective communication of product vision to stakeholders. The Scrum Master will prioritize work for multiple teams, refine user stories, and ensure optimum value is obtained through technology while providing application training and demonstrations.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize the value for Capital Markets Technology.
  • Define the vision and roadmap for deal origination, pipeline, and execution technology.
  • Work closely with senior business partners to understand their needs and ensure alignment with the Technology Development Team.
  • Create and communicate the product vision and roadmap to C-Suite stakeholders and business teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and align on priorities.
  • Create and prioritize features/epics in the program backlog.
  • Create and prioritize work for 1-3 teams.
  • Refine stories with the team to ensure readiness for upcoming sprints.
  • Review and accept stories, making on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements.
  • Work in partnership with the team to ensure optimum value is obtained through technology.
  • Provide application training and demonstration.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in information technology or computer science from an accredited 4-year university.
  • MBA or MS degree.
  • Experience in the role of Product Manager/Owner expert in Capital Markets Deal Origination and Deal Pipeline.
  • In-depth understanding of Debt or Equity Capital Markets applications and their use in the overall deal workflow.
  • Experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge and experience in Capital Markets Deal Origination and Deal Pipeline, requiring approximately 8-10 years of BA experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Experience with capital markets and the Deal Origination, Deal Pipeline, syndication process.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Agile skills to write quality User Stories and effectively prioritize the backlog.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working as part of a global team.
  • BI Tools experience (MS Office, Visio, MS Project, SharePoint, One Drive, MS Teams).
  • Front end development with Angular, Javascript, JSP, HTML/DHTML, Ajax.
