Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position. The Agile Scrum Master will be responsible for establishing and managing projects to collectively deliver desired business outcomes. The role involves leading a variety of different types of projects utilizing several different methodologies, including large scale application development, systems integration, operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments. The Scrum Master will manage multiple projects and may have end-to-end responsibility for the work effort, leading both technology and non-technology initiatives. In this position, the Scrum Master will be responsible for project financials and will partner closely with Line of Business Change Management teams to provide updates on technology deliverables. They will also be responsible for the end-to-end technology delivery of the assigned project and will act as the primary point of escalation for technology issues. The Scrum Master will drive overall technology execution, manage line of business stakeholder relationships, and act as their advocate throughout the life of the project. They will plan, organize, monitor, and control projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion. The role requires the development and socialization of potential risk mitigation strategies, as well as communication with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables, timelines, and support needed. The Scrum Master will partner with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. They will guide projects through all phases, ensuring required standards and processes are followed, required documents are completed, and required tracking systems are kept updated. Additionally, the Scrum Master will develop and manage the project plan, identify, assign, track, escalate, and resolve issues, and schedule and facilitate regular meetings to review progress and status, formulating agendas and documenting minutes, action items, etc.
