About the position

The Scrum Master will play an active role within Climate Risk Technology teams within the bank. As a Scrum Master, the candidate will coordinate and manage progress based on consistent Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes leveraging Agile and SAFE methodologies. They will also drive project risks and issues to resolution to minimize project impact while ensuring compliance to standards and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. The Scrum Master is expected to facilitate routines to support delivery, such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates. This role requires planning and coordinating delivery and dependencies across multiple teams, working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, and demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence. The Scrum Master will build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives. A sound knowledge of program management and solution delivery is essential, along with significant experience with SDLC methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, and SAFE. The candidate will handle release management tasks to ensure the team is compliant with CRQ documentation mandates and gather/facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule. Technical competence with various software programs including MS Office, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint is required, as well as knowledge of Data Warehouse and data management principles. The ideal candidate will possess Scrum Master and Agile certifications and experience crafting documents, diagrams, and roadmaps that showcase the work and architecture of the team and application. Understanding databases is also a key requirement.

  • Proficiency in Agile, SCRUM, and SAFE methodologies.
  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in a creative and analytical environment.
  • Knowledge of program management and solution delivery.
  • Significant experience with SDLC methodologies.
  • Technical competence with MS Office, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of Data Warehouse and data management principles.
  • Scrum Master and Agile certifications are required.
  • Understanding of databases.
