About the position

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced Agile Software Tester to join their dynamic team in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on quality assurance for software that powers advanced unmanned aerial systems. The tester will work within an Agile framework to design and execute test plans, collaborate with engineering teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement test strategies for the Altius software systems within an Agile environment.
  • Perform manual and automated testing, analyze results, and work with developers to resolve issues.
  • Engage with the Agile team through daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Develop test cases, manage test data, and maintain automated test suites.
  • Provide insights on software usability and functionality to improve system performance.
  • Document and track software defects and work with the development team to facilitate resolution.
  • Maintain awareness of new testing tools and methodologies to enhance testing processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in an Agile software testing role.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with test management software (e.g., JIRA) and automated testing tools (e.g., Robot Framework).
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with unmanned systems/robots, embedded applications, or defense-related software.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems and commands.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing.
  • Experience creating automated tests with common scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
