About the position

The Agile Trainer/Coach will play a crucial role in facilitating Agile transformation across teams within the organization. This position involves coaching, mentoring, and training teams and leadership on Agile methodologies, ensuring adherence to Agile principles, and fostering a strong Agile culture. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively while providing insights and strategies for successful Agile adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Coaching teams to adopt and practice Scrum and Agile techniques.
  • Mentoring Scrum Masters, Product Managers, and other Agile leaders to ensure successful implementation of Agile techniques.
  • Collaborating to develop Agile training materials and support communities related to Agile practices.
  • Providing Agile and role-specific training for management, team members, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.
  • Observing program and team activities and providing constructive feedback to improve processes.
  • Ensuring adherence to defined Scrum processes and frameworks.
  • Working with teams to leverage appropriate tools and follow enterprise practices for consistency and metrics.
  • Collaborating with management and teams to strengthen the Agile culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience in delivering Agile training and coaching in a transforming organization.
  • Expert-level Agile certification(s) such as PMI-ACP, SAFe Program Consultant, or Certified Scrum Professional.
  • Knowledge and experience in Waterfall project management.
  • Experience implementing and improving Agile principles and practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Technical background with a deep understanding of modern DevOps practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Agile Portfolio Management (7 years preferred).
  • Innovative thinking with the ability to learn and apply new tools and techniques.
