About the position

The Commercial and Agriculture Product Manager at Enerco is essential for driving growth, expansion, and profitability of the company's brands and products in the commercial and agricultural sectors. This role involves developing a deep understanding of Enerco's product line and competitors, identifying market opportunities, and orchestrating the implementation of new product developments in collaboration with various departments. The goal is to deliver unique and profitable products that enhance market share and customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of assigned Enerco product line and competitors' product lines.
  • Develop and maintain a product database with specifications, artwork, and catalog copy for marketing and sales.
  • Identify new market expansion opportunities and develop unique product offerings.
  • Coordinate product presentation and packaging for retail or customer delivery.
  • Manage the timing of new product introductions to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Execute the marketing plan for new product introductions as necessary.
  • Assist Sales Manager in setting pricing policy for new products based on market knowledge.
  • Manage profitability responsibility at the gross margin level in assigned market segments.
  • Oversee Enerco's intellectual property, including trademark and patent submissions.
  • Generate financial justifications for products requiring capital investment.
  • Perform pricing and competitive analysis to recommend strategies for market improvement.
  • Maintain Gantt charts for product introductions and drive stakeholders to meet commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 2-4 years' experience in Marketing, Product Management, or Product Development with consumer or industrial products
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project)
  • Mechanical ability and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and lead meetings with diverse teams.
