About the position

The Agricultural Equipment Operator is responsible for operating various agricultural equipment during the processing of soybeans. This role requires adherence to state and federal licensing laws, as well as the safe transportation of workers and crops on the farm. The operator must maintain equipment and perform truck and farm maintenance as needed, while working in outdoor conditions that may be dusty or dirty and subject to extreme weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate agricultural equipment for processing soybeans.
• Transport workers to and from work sites using farm vehicles.
• Maintain harvest equipment and perform truck maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Listen to and follow instructions from supervisors and dispatchers.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 months of experience as an agricultural equipment operator.
• Valid state and federal licenses for operating agricultural equipment.
• Proof of an accident-free driving record.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 68 pounds.
• Ability to work in dusty, dirty conditions and extreme weather.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with forklift operation.
• Knowledge of farm maintenance and repair.
