About the position

The Agriculture Customer Service Representative role at Wilbur-Ellis involves providing administrative support and facilitating communication between customers, the field sales team, and operations support. The position aims to ensure excellent service and customer satisfaction through effective order processing and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electronic order entry and processing using JD Edwards ERP software.
• Respond to customer sales inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Document and process product use recommendations as required.
• Enter and process customer orders utilizing JDE, adhering to Timely Transaction Processing policy.
• Submit and code bills and invoices to the Accounts Payable department for payment.
• Work closely with the Sales and Operations team to maintain adequate inventory levels.
• Conduct monthly inventory cycle counts and annual full inventory reconciliations.
• Assist Sales Team with customer pricing inquiries and resolve concerns promptly.
• Prepare standard and custom sales reports as requested by management and customers.
• Assist branch manager with onboarding paperwork and maintaining employee DOT files.
• Support other office team members in administrative tasks to ensure quality customer service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with computers, particularly Microsoft Windows and ERP order entry systems.
• Knowledge of mathematical concepts and ability to apply them accurately.
• Ability to sit at a desk and/or computer terminal for extended periods.
• Mobility to move across uneven terrain safely.
