About the position
The Agriculture Equipment Field Mechanic / Technician position at Pape Machinery involves working on agricultural equipment at customer locations to ensure optimal performance and uptime. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair heavy agricultural equipment, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Perform maintenance and repairs at customer locations to maximize equipment uptime.
- Interact with customers to provide excellent service and support.
- Travel to various locations in a fully loaded service vehicle.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, preferably agricultural equipment.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Self-motivation and ability to work under little or no supervision.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Must provide own tools.
