About The Position

The Adjunct Faculty for Black Church Studies at Assemblies of God Theological Seminary is dedicated to teaching and scholarship. The role involves enhancing the Pentecostal community, forming leaders, equipping the church, and contributing to global outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching required master's level courses each academic year.
  • Adjusting annual teaching requirements to include doctoral level courses or additional master's level courses as needed.
  • Participating with the Academic Chair in the annual assessment of student learning and periodic review of the department's academic programs.
  • Complying with requirements for syllabus production on timelines designated by the Academic Director's office.
  • Utilizing the standardized AGTS Course Template on the Canvas LMS and maintaining active engagement with LMS certification and training programs.
