About the position

The Senior AI and ML Engineer at Sentar will lead the development and integration of advanced AI and machine learning solutions for USCYBERCOMMAND. This role involves leveraging large language models in practical applications and maintaining systems that support sophisticated AI capabilities while contributing to various high-impact projects across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and integration of AI/ML solutions at USCYBERCOMMAND.
• Leverage large language models (LLMs) in real-world applications.
• Build and maintain systems that enable advanced AI capabilities.
• Contribute to high-impact, cross-functional projects throughout the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, software development, or data engineering.
• Experience in a programming language such as Python, R, or Java.
• Ability to obtain an IAT Level II certification within 45 days of employment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and integrating them into larger applications.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Experience designing software architectures using containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with modeling and simulation in support of military applications, including intelligence operations, wargaming, and force design planning.
• Experience with wargames, simulation software, or models for developing realistic threat scenarios.
• Experience with the DoD, Cyber Operating Forces, USCYBERCOM, or their components.
• Knowledge of defense or intelligence data sources and analytic tools.
