About the position

The AI Application Security Engineer will work within the Security Center of Excellence for Lenovo's PC and Smart Device business. This role involves collaborating with global product teams to conduct security reviews of AI products, including hardware, software, and services. The engineer will be responsible for establishing security requirements, threat modeling, and assessing security risks in product designs and release candidates. The position requires staying updated on the latest security testing tools and techniques to ensure effective security validation across various Lenovo products.

Responsibilities

• Build security requirements for AI products
• Review product designs and model threats
• Provide feedback to development teams
• Review product release candidates and assess security risks
• Drive mitigation of vulnerabilities
• Scope, plan, and execute security validation tests
• Stay updated on the latest testing tools and techniques

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, computer engineering, or related fields
• 1+ years of cybersecurity review experience
• 1+ years of experience with AI/ML technologies and implementing related security controls

• Strong written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Kotlin, Swift
• Experience working in a world-wide team
• Experience with AI model training, inferencing, RAG, prompt engineering, and AI guardrails
• Experience threat modeling both non-generative and generative AI solutions
