About the position

The AI CJADC2 Program Manager at SAIC is responsible for leading and managing the design and operation of integrated Enterprise IT solutions that deliver AI-enabled capabilities to support the Department of Defense's missions. This role requires a dynamic project manager who thrives in a fast-paced agile environment, focusing on data-centric AI and decision support solutions. The position involves collaborating with stakeholders, managing project goals, and ensuring alignment with business objectives while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop major concepts, initiatives, processes, procedures, PM tools and programs.
  • Facilitate and lead agile processes such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to determine project goals, project scope, and deliverables.
  • Manage and prioritize product backlog by working closely with the product owner.
  • Support the development team by removing obstacles and bottlenecks, allocating resources, and escalating major issues as necessary.
  • Monitor project progress and provide timely updates on project status to stakeholders using agile metrics and visual management tools.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, self-efficiency, and continuous improvement to foster agile teams.
  • Apply agile methodologies, principles, and practices to drive efficient project development.
  • Act as a servant-leader by coaching and mentoring team members and fostering a positive agile environment.
  • Provide consulting services and analyses for developing project metrics and performance standards based on project milestones and outcomes.
  • Directly support PMs in executing their programs, preparing briefings, documentation, and working with customers, stakeholders, and team members.

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of an active Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience.
  • Experience as an agile project manager or a similar role in product management or program management.
  • In-depth knowledge of agile frameworks and a solid understanding of their principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with traditional project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using traditional and agile project management tools and software.

Nice-to-haves

  • TS clearance and SCI eligibility.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP), ITIL-3 or ITIL-4, and/or agile or scrum related certifications.
  • Familiarity with change management, facilitation, organizational assessment, process modeling, business planning, business process reengineering, consensus building, organizational restructure, design, and implementation.
