About the position

Outlier is seeking experienced Swiss Italian writers to assist in training generative AI models. This freelance position allows for flexible working hours and is entirely remote, making it suitable for individuals looking to contribute their writing expertise while managing their own schedules.

Responsibilities

• Read Swiss Italian text to rank responses generated by an AI model.
• Write short stories in Swiss Italian on given topics.
• Assess the factual accuracy of Swiss Italian text produced by an AI model.

Requirements

• Fluency in Swiss Italian.
• Experience as a professional translator or in professional writing roles (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.).
• Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities field or a field related to writing.
• Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in AI model training or evaluation.
• Familiarity with generative AI technologies.
