About the position

The Manager, AI Data Analyst with the AI HUB team at CVS Health plays a pivotal role in identifying business operation problems and requirements for implementing enterprise AI services such as Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR), Contextualization, and Generative AI (GenAI). This position requires a comprehensive understanding of current processes, systems, data flows, and the recipients of workflow outputs. The role involves documenting both technical and non-technical requirements and collaborating with Architects and Engineers to define future state solutions. This includes identifying data sources, transformational needs, and optimal business operational processes, often necessitating AI model training and process redesign. The Manager will also be responsible for educating the business on the new automation solutions to ensure acceptance and understanding. In addition to requirement gathering, the Manager will work closely with Engineers during the development phase to ensure clarity in requirements and acceptance criteria. Regular demonstrations and support will be provided to facilitate change management, ensuring that automation solutions are adopted and effectively implemented. The role also encompasses defining test plans for Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including both assisted and unassisted automation. The Manager will analyze business operational processes across multiple projects and initiatives, requiring a deep understanding of healthcare operations and the CVS Health organization. The position demands a thorough analysis of current business operation process flows to identify common and alternative paths, as well as the rationale behind existing workflows. The Manager will drive operational transformation through AI services across the enterprise, identifying automation opportunities through business process analysis, process mining, data analysis, and system mapping. They will also develop test plans and scenarios for QA and UAT testing of automation solutions, tracking progress and addressing issues and risks during the testing phase. Supporting the change management process and ensuring that proper metrics are tracked post-deployment to meet expectations is also a critical responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing business operational processes for multiple projects and initiatives across all lines of business at CVS.
  • Drilling deep into the details of the current business operation process flow to understand common and alternative paths and the rationale behind existing workflows.
  • Driving business operational transformation utilizing AI services across the enterprise through AI HUB projects and engagements.
  • Identifying automation opportunities through business process analysis, process mining and mapping, data analysis, system mapping, and functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Developing test plans and scenarios for QA and UAT testing of automation solutions, tracking progress, and raising issues and risks during the testing phase.
  • Supporting the change management process identified with the business and ensuring proper metrics are tracked post-deployment to ensure expectations are being met.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in data analysis and business operations.
  • Exposure to leading-edge technology including AI (Machine Learning, OCR/ICR, Natural Language Processing).
  • Experience in business operational process improvement including process re-engineering standards.
  • Strong data analytic skills with exposure to data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry and related business operations within Medical Insurance, PBM, or Pharmacy operations.
  • Certified training in process re-engineering and improvement methodology including Six-Sigma, kaizen, etc.
