About the position

The AI Data Architect role is a hybrid position focused on leveraging AI technologies and data architecture principles within a public sector context. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement AI strategies, ensuring data security and compliance while fostering collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Chief Data Officer and stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive AI strategy.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of potential AI use cases, considering feasibility, impact, and associated risks.
  • Evaluate the technical soundness of AI project proposals, focusing on architecture, security, privacy, data quality, model performance, and scalability.
  • Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams and provide guidance on technical and ethical considerations.
  • Stay abreast of the latest AI technologies and trends, evaluating their suitability for specific use cases.
  • Prepare clear and concise technical reports summarizing project reviews and outlining trends in use cases.

Requirements

  • Technical background in AI and machine learning, including knowledge of AI/ML tools and models (e.g., Google Vertex, AWS Kendra, Snowflake Cortex, AWS SageMaker, Google AI Studio).
  • Experience with AI and data architecture and management.
  • Knowledge of responsible AI principles and ethical considerations.
  • Senior analytical and problem-solving skills.
