Responsibilities

  • Engage in statistical and exploratory analysis of large datasets using Python and related libraries.
  • Work with structured SQL databases and apply querying best practices.
  • Write and peer-review Python code with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to define technology infrastructure needs.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines following best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Math, or a similar field.
  • Experience with exploratory and statistical analysis of large datasets using Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, SciPy, Anaconda).
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and storage technologies (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS).
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Robust knowledge of Python, SQL, and other analytics languages.
  • Proficiency with relational database technologies.
  • Experience with AWS services like S3, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, Sagemaker.
  • Ph.D. in a relevant field.
  • Experience writing production-level code in a regulated environment.
  • Understanding of FDA regulations including ISO 13485.
  • Experience in CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with NoSQL technologies and Large Language Models (LLMs).
