About the position

The AI - Database Administrator/Developer role at Susquehanna International Group involves developing, customizing, and integrating AI technologies to enhance operational efficiencies across various applications. The position focuses on designing and supporting databases, collaborating with developers, and staying updated on AI advancements to improve business processes and technical environments.

Responsibilities

• Help design and support new databases to meet business requirements into the future.
• Perform storage maintenance and updates, keeping up to standards and staying current with the latest technology available to enhance AI capabilities.
• Partner with developers to troubleshoot and scale services.
• Stay abreast of developments in fields of AI and machine learning.
• Collaborate with team members and end-users to evolve the technical landscape in real-time as business needs change.
• Share ideas to improve business processes or enhance the technical environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience as a database administrator.
• Experience with AI Technologies including Vector and Graph databases.
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Experience in cloud services like Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Scripting experience (Python, Perl, Bash).
• SQL knowledge (preferred).
