About the position

The AI - Database Administrator at Susquehanna International Group will be part of the Corporate Systems AI team, focusing on developing, customizing, and integrating AI technologies to enhance operational efficiencies across various applications. This role involves direct engagement with end-users to improve application functionality and usability, while also leading the integration of generative AI technologies. The position emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's technical landscape.

Responsibilities

• Help design and support new databases to meet future business requirements.
• Perform storage maintenance and updates to stay current with the latest technology and enhance AI capabilities.
• Partner with developers to troubleshoot and scale services.
• Stay updated on developments in AI and machine learning fields.
• Collaborate with team members and end-users to evolve the technical landscape in real-time as business needs change.
• Share ideas for improving business processes and enhancing the technical environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience as a database administrator.
• Experience with AI Technologies including Vector and Graph databases.
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Experience in cloud services like Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Scripting experience (Python, Perl, Bash).
• SQL knowledge (preferred).
