About the position

The AI Developer/Engineer role at Insight Global involves designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI/ML applications on AWS and Azure cloud platforms. The position emphasizes building user-centric applications that utilize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for various functionalities such as chatbots, document reviews, and image analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in AI/ML development, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to solve complex business challenges using innovative technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML applications on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Implement AI/ML algorithms, models, and frameworks tailored to application requirements.
• Design and manage robust data pipelines for AI/ML workloads in collaboration with data engineers and scientists.
• Leverage pre-built AI tools and packages to create customized RAG applications.
• Perform testing and evaluation to ensure high model quality and performance.
• Employ distributed training and cloud-based GPUs for scalable model training.
• Deploy AI/ML models to production environments using services like SageMaker and Azure Machine Learning.
• Establish monitoring and automated retraining pipelines for model accuracy.
• Optimize deployments for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
• Integrate APIs and commercial AI tools to create user-focused applications.
• Utilize Co-pilot and similar tools to enhance application functionality.
• Provision and manage cloud resources for AI/ML workloads.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of development experience with 3+ years in AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Hands-on experience with AWS (Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Rekognition) and Azure AI/ML services.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications and API integration.
• Experience building end-user chatbot applications.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
