About the position

The AI Developer at Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC will focus on custom-developing or leveraging AI/ML-enabled applications to address critical challenges in the U.S. Public Sector. This role involves working on innovative AI solutions related to GenAI, optical character recognition, automation, predictive modeling, pattern analysis, and fraud detection. The position offers flexibility to work from home and is part of a rapidly expanding Data and AI practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams on various AI and data science projects.
  • Drive data science and AI-related solutions based on requirements and resources.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis and construct data stores as needed.
  • Develop custom algorithms, frameworks, and models to solve complex problems.
  • Deploy data science and AI/ML solutions and develop methodologies to scale them up.
  • Present findings and solutions to clients and team members.
  • Maintain knowledge of advances in data science in industry and academia.
  • Contribute to the overall growth of the Data and AI practice.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in data science, statistics, computer science, economics, mathematics, information systems, or similar field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in data science/AI/ML delivery responsibilities.
  • Experience in designing and developing data models and algorithms.
  • Experience in building and deploying predictive and prescriptive analytics.
  • Experience in conducting hypothesis testing and statistical analyses.
  • Experience in developing and implementing data stores such as SQL Server and Access.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Scala, SQL, JavaScript, C/C++, and Java.
  • Experience using libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark ML/MLlib, and Jupyter.
  • Experience using tools like Azure's Machine Learning and AI Services, AWS's SageMaker, DataRobot, or H2O.ai.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay flexible in a dynamic work environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Active Government Security clearance.
  • Data Science, ML, AI, or Cloud certifications.
  • Experience working in an IT project team following SDLC and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with big data distributed programming languages and ecosystems such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, or Kafka.
  • Experience with designing and building cloud-based databases, data lakes, and data warehouses.
  • Experience with Deep Learning methods in NLP, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and graph theory.
  • Experience in creating custom intelligence-based RPA solutions using UiPath or Power Automate.
