About the position

Outlier is seeking an AI Development Specialist to assist in training generative AI models by providing human feedback. This role is ideal for experienced software engineers who can contribute their coding expertise to enhance AI models, particularly in the context of coding tasks. The position is freelance and remote, offering flexible hours to accommodate individual schedules.

Responsibilities

• Craft and answer questions related to computer science to help train AI models.
• Evaluate and rank code generated by AI models.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science at a selective institution.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C++.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Nice-to-haves
