About the position

The Senior Staff AI Engineer (Multimodal LLMs) will lead the development of innovative AI solutions aimed at promoting family well-being. This role involves creating scalable, responsible AI platforms and solutions that drive ethical and privacy-focused generative experiences. The engineer will spearhead AI initiatives across multiple teams, focusing on generative AI, computer vision, and natural language processing, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build impactful AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation, development, and deployment of AI solutions focused on promoting family well-being.
• Spearhead AI initiatives across multiple teams, leveraging expertise in generative AI, computer vision, and natural language processing (NLP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable AI-driven solutions that support various business units.
• Develop and implement multimodal AI systems that integrate diverse data types, such as text, images, audio, and video.
• Develop privacy-preserving AI systems that align with the division's mission to deliver positive outcomes for families.
• Advocate for emerging AI technologies to foster innovation and drive business growth.
• Partner with internal and external teams to create forward-thinking AI products in generative AI and related fields.
• Champion innovative AI approaches that advance family health and well-being through products.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to develop scalable software platforms for efficient AI solution deployment.

Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in a leadership role within engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML technologies, including generative AI, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision.
• Hands-on experience with multimodal AI systems, integrating data from various sources such as text, images, audio, and video.
• Extensive experience in designing and deploying AI models and systems in production environments.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a proven track record of influencing executives and fostering alignment.
• In-depth knowledge of Responsible AI practices and ethical considerations surrounding AI implementation.
• Experience in healthcare or wellness industries is a plus.
