About the position

The AI Engineer - Pr. Associate at Capital One is responsible for developing and deploying AI-powered products that enhance customer interactions and improve internal processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable AI solutions, leveraging advanced technologies and methodologies to optimize performance and efficiency in banking services.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components.
• Leverage Open Source and SaaS AI technologies for product development.
• Invent and introduce LLM optimization techniques for production AI systems.
• Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of foundational AI systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or AI plus at least 3 years of experience in AI and ML technologies, or a Master's degree.
• At least 3 years of experience programming with Python, Go, Scala, or Java.

Nice-to-haves

• 4 years of experience deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Experience developing AI services and algorithms (LLM Inference, Similarity Search, Guardrails).
• Master's degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field.
• Experience optimizing training and inference software for performance.
