About the position

The AI Engineer at OneStream Software is a key member of the AI Product & Engineering team, responsible for developing AI-powered solutions for the OneStream platform. This role focuses on transforming business challenges into effective applications using AI and computer science techniques. The position requires a strong understanding of software design principles, UX/UI design, and collaboration with various teams to enhance product support and drive continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Write and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code following modern software design principles.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs, proposing solutions to mitigate these issues.
  • Ensure code quality, organization, and automation are preserved.
  • Document software bugs, enhancements, and story tickets in a tracking system.
  • Collaborate with Product Specialists and Quality Assurance Testers effectively.
  • Create how-to guides to familiarize stakeholders with developed products.
  • Support or lead UI/UX design at the beginning of a release cycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in building and deploying production-level machine learning solutions.
  • 1-3 years of strong programming experience in Python, C++, C, CSharp, Java, Rust, or Go.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Experience with web services and API frameworks like Flask and FastAPI.
  • Experience with relational databases, specifically MS SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-based computing, particularly Azure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with anomaly detection and natural language processing.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
