About the position

As an AI Engineer at OneStream, you will play a vital role in executing the LLM initiative aimed at enhancing user experiences in data analysis and decision-making through advanced AI Assistants. The position focuses on bridging the gap between AI research and practical applications, delivering tangible value to users through various AI and machine learning solutions, including time series forecasting, anomaly detection, and natural language processing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance applications and services using various software architecture design patterns.
• Implement Large Language Model assistants and agents, focusing on retrieval augmented generation (RAG), planning, using actions and tools, prompt engineering, and finetuning.
• Continuously learn best coding practices and the latest applications and failures of GenAI in products.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack, from the user interface to the database layer to ensure the reliability of releases.
• Participate and eventually lead technical design sessions to decompose and design complex systems and interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical and user requirements are met.
• Develop both client-side and server-side parts of an application, possibly including experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or similar work experience
• CS/DS/EE/CE Degree or similar experience
• 1-3 years of experience building and deploying production-level machine learning solutions or similar experience
• 1-3 years of strong programming experience with one of the following: Python, C++, C, CSharp, Java, Rust, or Go (or similar experience)

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience with non-relational databases
• Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-based computing (Azure)
