About the position

Plante Moran is seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join their technology services team. This role involves developing and deploying advanced AI models and solutions to address real-world business challenges. The AI Engineer will collaborate with software engineers, solution architects, and data engineers to design, implement, and optimize scalable AI systems aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and architect Generative AI models using the latest LLM's and machine learning frameworks.
• Design, develop, and integrate AI models into existing software systems or develop new applications leveraging AI/ML capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business needs and identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions.
• Lead integration efforts, deploying AI models to cloud environments using containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Drive MLOps practices, including continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of AI models.
• Build and maintain end-to-end AI pipelines using DevOps tools such as Git and CI/CD processes.
• Automate AI model training and deployment workflows, focusing on scalability and performance.
• Stay updated on advancements in AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Apply cutting-edge techniques to enhance AI model performance.
• Ensure AI systems are developed with ethical guidelines and responsible AI practices.
• Continuously monitor AI system performance and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related technical discipline (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years in Information Technology or related Engineering disciplines.
• 5+ years of experience in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• 3+ years of ML modeling experience using regression and supervised/unsupervised learning techniques.
• 3+ years of experience in data wrangling/cleansing, statistical modeling, and programming.
• Experience with RAG technologies and LLM frameworks (Langchain, Claude, LLamaIndex).
• Expertise in AI/ML frameworks, including PyTorch and Scikit-Learn.
• Strong knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience building and maintaining scalable AI/ML pipelines using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with DevOps and MLOps practices.
