About the position

SAIC is seeking an AI/Artificial Intelligence Engineer Subject Matter Expert to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to SAIC's Program, Landmark, located in Chantilly, VA. Landmark is a significant SETA program that supports the National Reconnaissance Office's (NRO) Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), which is responsible for the acquisition of systems throughout their complete end-to-end life cycle. This role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph, which is essential for working on sensitive projects within the intelligence community. In this position, you will be tasked with developing and deploying machine learning models, leveraging your strong programming background to create innovative AI solutions. You will collaborate closely with data scientists and software engineers to ensure that the AI solutions you implement meet the specific requirements of the program. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in AI development and deployment, with a focus on creating algorithms and models that drive project objectives. Your responsibilities will include conducting data analysis, preparing reports on AI performance, and staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in AI to foster innovation within the team. This role is critical in ensuring that the program remains at the forefront of AI advancements, contributing to the overall success of the NRO's mission.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance.
  • Experience in AI development and deployment.
  • Experience with Python, Java, C++, R, or similar for AI development.
  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
